We have owned our home in southeast Fort Collins for about 35 years.  It is a beautiful house, on a very special lot, and we have always strived to keep it upgraded for our comfort and to preserve the value of the property.   Therefore, we have done several remodels over the years.

Artisan Remodeling & Design recently finished a complete renovation of our kitchen.  We are extremely happy with the results, both the quality of the work and the quality of the experience.  Paul and Sarah have earned our highest rating for a recommendation.

When we started this project, we knew that we wanted the majority of the project to be done while we were out of town.  Trust and quality of work were the most important factors in selecting a remodeling company.   Paul and Sarah are a husband and wife team that run a local, family owned business.  They are wonderful, positive people that guide you through the project.  We found them to be excellent problem solvers, and they demonstrated flexibility as various issues surfaced.

Sarah is an excellent listener, she is patient, and she helped us create a vision for our new kitchen.  She has an excellent design sense, and simplified our choices for cabinets, fixtures, furniture, and flooring.  This really accelerated the project.   Paul handles all the details of the job, does some of the work, and he has assembled an amazing set of sub-contractors.  We were so impressed by these individuals---they were all very skilled, very detail oriented, super clean, and they were simply the nicest people that you could hope to find in your home.

Lastly, since we have done several remodels over the years, it is appropriate to make some comparisons.  We have always selected companies that we can trust--the highest quality companies with great reputations.   These choices typically come with a high price premium.
In the case of Artisan, you get a company that you can trust, quality work, and very reasonable prices.   Working with Sarah and Paul was an absolute pleasure.

Artisan’s showroom is really impressive, much larger than we expected with a really wide selection. Sarah and Paul had some items pulled for us before we arrived based on our inspiration photos and design survey (which is so much fun!), and the things they chose were spot on! IHaving their guidance as we made our selections made the whole process more enjoyable and less overwhelming. The way the showroom is designed is really fun. It’s open and welcoming. Most showrooms can feel cramped and they can actually leave me feeling a little bit stressed, but Artisan’s showroom has a completely different feel. When we were beginning our search for a bathroom remodeling company, the hardest part was knowing that we would have to let strangers into our home for the duration of the project. It was really important to us to find a company we could trust. When we met Paul, we immediately knew he was trustworthy, and his knowledge of the industry is unrivaled. And he presents it in such a friendly and personable manner so as not to talk down to the customer. We liked that. We hired him on the spot. Then we met Sarah and were really impressed by her design process and how she was able to pinpoint our exact style. When we were presented our renderings, they were so far beyond what we could have created ourselves. Artisan Remodeling & Design is a classy organization. We contacted them to review our kitchen for a remodel. Both Sarah and Paul have a unique niche in their company and they guarantee their work. Our decision to hire them took mere moments.

Sarah provides creative, tasteful and “in the know” coaching for the design portion of our kitchen remodel. She has a feel-good presence and is genuinely interested in our likes and dislikes. Sarah offers different concepts of design: bold, classic, neutral, sophisticated, calming, FUN (should I keep going?) and samples of all. Who knew there are so many unique choices that fit our personalities? Sarah consistently kept us updated through phone calls, emails and quickly responded to any questions. Artisan is building a showroom which will provide an ambiance and personal experience with samples of tile, cabinets, lighting and design ideas. They are an upscale company that cares.

Paul’s skill level is impressive. He expertly knows what to do in any situation. His calm and comfortable demeanor is so easy to work with. The project manager checks in daily, Paul and Sarah check in at least once a week. Paul has a fantastic relationship with his subcontractors. We had to say goodbye when the job was complete and it was like parting from friends. Their professionalism and experience was superior. Artisan offers three levels of pricing for their products: good, better, best. They are all quality.

Both Sarah and Paul have spoken honestly from experience that often a remodel project affects (temporarily) one’s very existence. Thankfully, they provided tools to help us stay levelheaded and hold on to oneself during this WELL WORTH IT experience. We were well taken care of! We are so happy we found Paul and Artisan Remodeling. Our new kitchen is beautiful and the entire process from design to completion was incredibly smooth with no hiccups. Paul was able to understand our vision for the project and improve on it in ways we hadn’t considered. Artisan also works with great suppliers so that the finishes always feel top quality. Communication was great and we were always aware of the project status and timelines. On top of all that, they still managed to finish under our original budget. Great experience all around - highly recommend!
