When Paul and Sarah started Artisan all those years ago, they knew that one of the most important aspects of running a successful company was finding the right team. That is why we set out to build the The Artisan Team.
Today, they couldn’t be more proud and more grateful for the people that have chosen to work for Artisan, and they know that once you get to meet everybody, you’ll quickly understand why Sarah and Paul appreciate them so much. To learn more about everybody, click the bios below!
PAUL
As Director of Construction at Artisan Remodeling & Design, Paul brings decades of hands-on construction expertise to every project. A licensed contractor with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, his deep understanding of building science and construction methods makes him an invaluable resource for both clients and team members alike. On job sites, Paul ensures that every detail meets not just code requirements, but Artisan’s exacting standards for quality and efficiency.
With his wealth of knowledge earned through over 20 years in the field, Paul has a unique ability to anticipate challenges before they arise and devise innovative solutions that keep projectsmoving forward smoothly. His practical approach to problem-solving, combined with his commitment to doing things right the first time, has helped set the standard for excellence at Artisan.
As someone who’s seen every aspect of construction, Paul takes pride in guiding our team to deliver results that stand the test of time.
Sarah
As Director of Operations, Sarah is dedicated to creating systems that empower the Artisan team to do what they do best: deliver seamless, stress-free remodels. She takes it personally when clients choose Artisan, knowing these aren’t just projects—they’re spaces where families will gather and make memories for years to come. That’s why she focuses on addressing challenges before they arise and keeping everything organized behind the scenes.
Sarah also carefully selects each team member, seeking skilled craftspeople who are as kind and trustworthy as they are talented. If she wouldn’t invite them to her own home, they’re not a fit. Once they join the team, she ensures they have the support and resources to thrive.
When she’s not at work, you can be sure Sarah is soaking up all the time she can get with Paul and their two girls, or perhaps with her mom who lives right down the street. Sarah also loves mountain biking in Crested Butte, road biking around Fort Collins (cause the bike paths are the greatest!!) and photography.
MIKE
As Project Director at Artisan Remodeling & Design, Mike Brockmann brings a genuine passion for both home transformation and human connection to every project. His sharp eye for design details, combined with his expertise in project pricing and coordination, ensures that each renovation flows smoothly from concept to completion.
Mike’s approach centers on truly understanding each client’s vision. His natural ability to listen and connect helps homeowners feel heard and supported throughout their remodeling journey. Whether he’s fine-tuning project timelines or discussing design possibilities, Mike’s thoughtful attention to detail keeps projects organized and aligned with both budget and vision.
When he’s not guiding clients through their remodeling experience, Mike can be found enjoying time with his wife and four kids, camping in the mountains, or settling in with a good book on a cozy fall day.
BONNIE
Meet Bonnie — our bookkeeper extraordinaire! With almost 30 years of banking experience, she transitioned to bookkeeping with ease and confidence. She keeps our books spotless, tracks every project cost to the penny, and ensures every subcontractor’s insurance is always current — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Her methodical approach and eagle-eye accuracy give us all peace of mind. Bonnie’s ability to keep our finances organized and up-to-date is the backbone of Artisan’s success. Without her, we simply couldn’t thrive the way we do.
Thanks to Bonnie, we can rest easy knowing every financial detail is handled with precision and care. We’re incredibly lucky to have her on our team! When she’s not working her magic at Artisan, Bonnie loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.
DeaAnna
DeaAnna is one of our incredibly talented in-house designers, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on the Artisan team. With a passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional, DeaAnna believes every design should reflect the unique personality of the people who live there.
For her, interior design isn’t just a job — it’s a love affair. She’s dedicated to crafting spaces that feel like sanctuaries, where clients can feel at ease, inspired, and recharged. Her creativity, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to thoughtful design shine through in every project she touches.
DeaAnna graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011 with a degree in Kitchen and Bath Design from the Art Institute of Colorado, and her work has been featured on TV’s Urban Conversion and
sites like Apartment Therapy and CoutureColorado.
When she’s not designing, DeaAnna spends time with her husband, two sons, and a lively crew of pets. We’re lucky to have her vision, talent, and heart on our team — and we know you will be too.
Mikaela
Meet Mikaela, an approachable and fun-loving designer who believes that good design should be just as functional as it is beautiful. She takes immense pride in being part of such a significant life event for her clients, ensuring that each project will be carried out with the utmost care and sensitivity.
Mikalea understands that most people only renovate once or twice in their lifetime, and she
doesn’t take that responsibility lightly. Mikaela holds a strong vision for style but is flexible and attuned to her clients’ tastes and preferences, guaranteeing that their dreams and expectations for the space are not only met but exceeded.
Beyond her design work, Mikaela enjoys the charming atmosphere of live music at The Gold Hill Inn and the thrill of discovering furniture treasures on Facebook Marketplace.
Jeremiah
Meet Jeremiah, a remarkable craftsman and an invaluable part of our Artisan crew. He learned the trade from his older brother, an incredibly skilled craftsman in his own right, and that family legacy of precision and pride shines through in everything Jeremiah does. From installing cabinets and trim to laying tile and tackling the fine details, his versatility and attention to detail are second to none. His favorite part of the job? That magical moment when everything starts to come together, and the new space begins to reveal itself.
But what truly sets Jeremiah apart is his character. He shows up to every job with an easy smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine dedication to his craft. His combination of skill, integrity, and good energy embodies what Artisan is all about — doing exceptional work with people who truly care. We’re grateful to have him on our team and can’t wait for you to see his craftsmanship in action.
When he’s not on the job, Jeremiah loves hanging out with his wife, their three boys, and the rest of his family. He’s happiest in the great outdoors — fishing, camping, and exploring the mountains whenever he can.
REID
Reid has been an essential part of our carpentry team at Artisan for over seven years, and honestly, we can’t imagine the place without him. He’s the kind of craftsman who not only
delivers beautiful work but also leaves a lasting impression on our clients with his genuine,
down-to-earth personality.
It’s no surprise that homeowners often mention how much they enjoyed having Reid on their project. He has a laid-back nature and an ability to connect with people, all while staying focused and efficient. He makes the remodeling process feel smooth and comfortable, which is something our clients truly appreciate.
